This is intended. A device template describes the capabilities of a device. For instance, the MXChip will send temperature, humidity, and motion events (among other things) and this is described in the device template. The ReButton you also posted in your screenshot will have capabilities like button press (with support for single/double/triple/long click).
Yesterday we held our AzureCon event and were fortunate to have tens of thousands of developers around the world participate. During the event we announced several great new enhancements to Microsoft Azure including: General Availability of 3 new Azure regions in India Announcing new N-series of Virtual Machines with GPU capabilities Announcing Azure IoT Suite available to purchase Announcing Azure Container Service Announcing Azure Security Center We were also fortunate to be joined on stage by several great Azure customers who talked about their experiences using Azure including: Jet.com, Nascar, Alaska Airlines, Walmart, and ThyssenKrupp. Watching the Videos All of the talks presented at AzureCon (including the 60 breakout talks) are now available to watch online. You can browse and watch all of the sessions here. My keynote to kick off the event was an hour long and provided an end-to-end look at Azure and some of the big new announcements of the day. You can watch it here.
Navigate to the camera device and select the dashboard tab. Whenever the camera sees a truck or a person, the YOLOv3 detection model will send the corresponding AI inference events with the detection class and confidence % to IoT central. The charts on the IoT Central dashboard will update in real-time to reflect these detections.
You can minimize the effort and costs by using Azure IoT Central, an IoT platform that provides capabilities of both platform as a service (PaaS) and software as a service (SaaS). Using this platform allows the sensors and well equipment to send data to Azure IoT Hub, which will process the data in near real time. It provides useful insights that enable the right decision-making at the right time, preventing accidents and saving lives. For decisions that must be taken in real-time without delay, Azure IoT Edge is an extension of IoT Hub and enables a quick turnover since the analytics is implemented at the edge.
Using Azure Data Lake, data from the well can be stored in a centrally managed storage. You can use Azure Databricks, Azure Stream Analytics to process the data. Furthermore, you could use Power BI and Azure Time Series Insights for visualization, providing the site supervisors with valuable, real-time data-driven insights to manage the site effectively and securely.
Azure products and services mitigate the challenge to provide the services without hindrance and seamless performance in extreme conditions. Building new features, enhancing the look and feel of your app, and achieving high performance are central; experience is key. With the highly available and scalable Azure platform and service, retail organizations can build high-performing and reliable applications. Services such as Azure Cognitive Services can enable you to build AI with minimal knowledge, allowing you to implement applications that can scale and provide a rich experience to customers.
