Some Apple TV channels might have limits for how many titles can be downloaded simultaneously and the number of devices you can download content on. If you reach the limit, the Apple TV app alerts you. If you want to download more titles, delete TV episodes or movies that you already downloaded from one of your (or your family's) devices.
That's not clear. The question is how does one download on a mac. The answer was how to download on other devices. That's not an acceptable form of answering the question. \"That's currently not available on the Mac OS\" is an acceptable answer. Don't send people on a wild goose chases for the sake of appearing like you're being helpful.
I agree with the poster - The answer is over complicating the situation. The simple concise answer is. No I am sorry Netflix do not support downloads on the Mac OS. Instead the answer told you all the devices you CAN download content from Netflix with. Yes it answers the question, if you think about it, but it is over complicating a simple answer to a simple question. I was also looking for the answer to the question. And quite frankly you guys (and I appreciate your not paid) ganged up and were rude and condescending to the poster. Sorry but I felt like I had to respond, because they were correct. Just because you don't get paid gives you no right to be condescending.
You can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ content on your Mac, to do so you just need to log on to the website of each service. But downloading is forbidden (and if you see a service that seems to suggest it will allow you to do this then it may well be malware!)
UPDATE: On 15 November 2021 Amazon Prime Video launched a native macOS app on the Mac App Store that will allow Prime subscribers to stream and download Prime Video content on their Macs for offline viewing. The app is free and requires macOS Big Sur (11.4) and later. Get Amazon Prime Video for macOS here.
In theory the change should make it possible to stream downloaded Netflix or Disney+ shows from your iPhone or iPad to your Mac. However, when we tried to stream from Netflix to our Mac we saw this warning:
You can't download movies and TV shows on Apple TV, smart TVs, and other streaming devices with the Apple TV app. You can stream movies and TV shows that you purchased. Just open the Apple TV app and go to your library.
Very annoyed. Every time I try to download movies on my iPad Mini, it says that there are too many downloads on my devices when in fact there are no downloads on any other devices within the people using my account. It works on my iPhone XR, why doesn't work on my iPad mini Did apple update something behind iPad mini owner's backs so we can't download movies through streaming services to get us to switch to the newer models or is this an issue on Netflix's end Anyone else having a similar issue with Netflix on their older devices
Netflix is by all means one of the most popular streaming services in existence. Not only can you watch movies and TV shows online thro
