Hi, I am new to mac and have been following the Lightroom tutorial on the get ready guide to get set up, I have already installed in some of the things, but I need to set up my camera for the first time. I have tried the camera viewfinder tool but I can’t find how to select my camera. I am not interested in storage or about the mobile app I just want to import my photos to a catalog. The link I used was the following one: http://lightroom.adobe.com/get-started/quick-start.html
I am running Lightroom Classic CC version 7.4.1. I have a catalog with about 2000 photos on an external firewire drive, and 5GB on a harddrive on the MacBook Pro running 10.11. Can I go to the external firewire drive on my windows 7 machine and browse to the internal drive? It shows as empty. Also, everytime I move a photo to the catalog, it appears to delete the image, or rotate the image 90 degrees. Again, this is with my external firewire drive.
I am trying to migrate photos from my old iMac to my new Mac Mini. If I copy the files over, the Photos app will recognize the content but if I double click an image in the Photos app, it says 'not authorized to use the camera'. How do I go about having it recognize the photos? d2c66b5586
