Pathan was shot in Kerala in the presence of Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez and others. The film is a production of Aditya Chopra, who has been working with Shahrukh Khan for the last few years. Apart from Shahrukh Khan, the cast includes Anupam Kher, Anushka Sharma, Jacqueline Fernandez, Ajay Devgn, Dipannita Sharma, Anmol Kholap, Anjana Sukhani, Chetan Brahmbhatt, Nausheen Ali and others. It is the third collaboration between Shahrukh Khan and Yash Raj Films, after the hit movies Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani. However, Pathan is Shahrukh Khan’s first Bollywood film, after four years of Dilwale.
The story revolves around a criminal who has suddenly become a hero for the people. A man is found dead with a bag of diamonds and the case is taken over by the Mumbai police. As investigating begins, the cop begins to doubt, who is the real murderer? The detective has to prove his innocence and find out the real murderer.
